Very Merry Christmas

Dear Etrain,

This year was the first year we put up Christmas lights outside. Now that we have you we wanted to be more festive. Plus you love lights. Each time we went outside at night you'd say "Oooo" as you'd look at the lights. Several times we'd go walking or driving around different neighborhoods to see Christmas lights. One night we even went to Balboa Island via the ferry and drove around in the rain to check out how all the houses were decorated. We drove slow so we let you out of your car seat so you could have a better view. You loved it. We got lots of "Oooos" from you.

On Christmas Eve your Grandma and Grandpa North came over and we all drove down to Nana and Papa Vigil's house. We opened gifts and had a delicious dinner. Grandma and Grandpa North spent the night at our house so we could spend more time together Christmas day. We opened a few more gifts, had breakfast and played with all your new toys. Later that night, Dada and I took you out one last time to see Christmas lights and we scored. There was a house that was so decked out people we getting out of their cars to take photos and check it out. So we joined them.
