Dear Etrain

Dear Etrain,

They say it's good to read to babies no matter the age, so that's what I've been doing since you were born. You have a bunch of awesome books that people have given you - The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Giving Tree, Where the Wild Things Are, and many more. We read The Going to Bed Book every night and even before naps. But unless you had a bottle, you were always more interested in flipping (or eating) the pages rather than listening to the story...until last week.

We were having fun in your play room when you brought me a book called I Love You Through and Through by Bernadette Rossetti-Shustack. I opened it up, started reading and you knelt next to me and put your sweet little hands on my leg. You  watched as I flipped through each page and when I finished I was a bit teary eyed. You had never just sat and listened. My heart melted. Of course we read it again. And we've read it basically every day since. 

The book is very sweet and I mean every word when I read it to you. I love you through and through...yesterday, today and tomorrow too.
