Dear Etrain,
How did it happen? How is it you're one month away from turning two years old? This went by way too fast. It seems like not that long ago you just learned to walk and only knew a few words. Now you're a running and talking machine. I'm amazed everyday how you're growing and learning, but also can't believe that my baby is getting to be a big boy. An actual walking, talking human. It's so cool.
I have to admit something though. This post is really late and I blame it on the house. I usually write these while you are taking your nap, but this past month or maybe longer, I've been consumed with the house. When you nap I squeeze in a workout, then get on the computer or phone and answer a bunch of emails and texts regarding the house. I usually run out of time for a shower and lunch. I can't say it's been fun, but I'm doing my best to keep things going. And on the 19th, we moved...so there's been a bunch of packing and prep for that. I can share more in the next post, but let's just say the house wasn't done when we moved...and it's still not done. Ugh.
Needless to say, I'm having a hard time remembering all we did last month. Since I wrote about them, I can tell you we did go to the pumpkin patch and carved some pumpkins. We also celebrated Halloween in our own way. We took you to get another haircut. We wanted to get it done early in case it turned out bad, there would be time for it to grow out before your birthday. Luckily, it turned out great!
The only other photos I have of this last month are just random stuff of us messing around at the park or around the apartment. Oh, and there's a cute video of you that I forgot I took. Nothing major happens in it, but I like saving memories of you talking, eating, even reaching for the phone. Other people may find it boring, but I just love watching you be you. And since you're growing up so fast, I have to save these memories of you, even if they're just simple, everyday interactions.
We had to do two photo shoots this month. Someone didn't want to participate the first time, even with Nana here to cheer you up. So, I tried again and you were much more chipper. :)
I'm sorry I didn't have a lot to share this month. Hopefully there will be more next month, because you will be 2!!!
Love,
Mama
