Dear Ethan,
Your Papa and I were delighted to have you for the day as Mommy and Daddy went out shopping for appliances for your new home.
Truly, its the happiest time in our life when we get to spend time with you. At 19 months you are full of surprises, new words..shoe, two, papa, nana, please, thank you, more and of course no-oo. Your favorite activity is puzzles and building blocks. They say a child's play is his work and I believe it. You work intently building and connecting the blocks. Will you grow up to be a builder? Papa and I applaud and praise your accomplishments. You are very clever and smart...if we do say so!
Today, you went to Heritage Christian Church and enjoyed the music and all the attention from our friends. You and I stayed in the nursery, while Papa attended the service. Home for lunch (nana's special meatloaf with hidden peas and carrots), nap and then a swim in the pool. What a fun day we
enjoyed with you.
When mommy and daddy picked you up, they both fell apart laughing as they saw how we had you dressed. You were in a beachy blue striped jumpsuit and lime green tee (not your usual attire, but adorable!). You threw your head back and screeched with joy, as we all had a good laugh.
Thank you Lord for blessing us with a precious grandson..may all his days be filled with joy!
